Christ: THE ANOINTED ONE — What Does it Mean? What Does “Jesus” Mean?
‘Christ’ means “the Anointed One” and is synonymous with Messiah. ‘Jesus’ means “God saves.” Thus ‘Jesus Christ’ means “God saves through the Anointed One.”
